This long-time solution for tagging trees, plants and more can be thermally printed on in large quantities with scannable barcodes. Standard material is Polyethylene with many locking, profile and tear-off features. Extra-durable Vinyl is also available. We carry a large variety of wrap-tag colors, thicknesses and quantities to help you through the growing season.
Wrap Tags are made of durable waterproof polyethylene material and come in a variety of colors for the horticultural industry. Wrap tags go around a plant or tree stem and lock in place with two width choices. A variety of sizes allows for short or long plant descriptions along with barcodes. These Poly Tags require a wax-resin or resin ribbon when using a thermal printer.
Wrap Tags are manufactured in one of two orientations:
Side by Side
Side by Side rolls come off the roll long edge first. A thermal printer and will print a typical 4inch maximum width on these labels.WP = The open locking hole on these tags allows for easy application.
WPT = These tags have two tabs within the locking hole. These tabs force the tag to protrude and remain firm while on the tree or plant for easy reading.
P = The letter "P" at the end of the part number denotes a Perforated end of the tag.
End to End
End to End rolls come off the roll short end first. This orientation allows for an extra-long 10 inch tag with an additional 2 inch perforation.EP = End to End Low Density Polyethylene Material- Durable, UV resistant, Soft Flexible.
EO = End to End Synthetic Material- High scuff and UV resistant up to 1 year. Excellent printability.
P = The letter "P" at the end of the part number denotes a Perforated end of the tag.
