Our customer service staff work directly with our Account Representatives and clients to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth transactions. We are looking for organized individuals with strong communication and data entry skills. Customer Service is responsible for handling administrative and sales support tasks. This involves assisting Account Representatives, processing sales and purchase orders, RMAs, and other tasks as necessary. This person will work in a supportive team environment. The ideal person has vigilant attention to detail and possesses a natural ability to deal with large volumes of documents with speed and accuracy. Qualifications:
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (in person, phone, and email)
- Ability to do basic arithmetic and use a calculator
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Ability to enter data both quickly and accurately
- Previous experience in a business or manufacturing setting a plus
- Ability to work independently and with teams in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Excellent attendance
Responsibilities:
- Enter Orders/Purchase Orders into our software system
- Follow up on orders by phone and communicate with employees and vendors on order status
- Communicate with all department team members on orders, shipments and any information related to the orders processed
- Enter tracking numbers into our software ERP system
- Communicate with customers by phone or email regarding their orders
- Process repeat orders and support Sales Account Representatives
