DSE04X1 2D Decoded Scan Module

The DSE04X1 models are the decoded variants of the DE2011-DL ultracompact, high-performance 2D imager engine. They consist of the DE2011-DL combined with a decoder board. These scan engines feature an exceptional high-speed sensor that allows image capture at a rapid 60 frames per second, ensuring excellent motion tolerance. They also offer outstanding depth-of-field, a wide field-of-view, high motion tolerance, quick reading, and superior decoding performance, especially for poorly printed codes or barcodes displayed on mobile devices and computer screens.

Customers have the option to include a beeper and/or Datalogic's patented 'Green Spot' technology for clear read feedback, which is particularly beneficial in noisy environments.

The DSE04X1 scan modules feature Datalogic's high-performance decoder capable of decoding all common 1D and 2D barcodes. Customers have the option to choose between an integrated scan module or install the scan engine and decoder board separately, connected by a short flex cable extending up to 7.0 cm / 2.7 in. This setup offers mounting flexibility, especially in constrained spaces.

The scan module supports various interface options such as USB interfaces (USB keyboard, USB HID, and USB com) or UART interfaces (RS-232, TTL-232). Customers requiring connectivity to a host terminal port can select either the model with the microUSB connector board (DSE0421-K) or the RS-232/RJ connector board (DSE0451-S).

Additionally, with Datalogic's remote management software, customers can remotely manage the firmware of the scan module, enhancing convenience and control over their scanning operations.
