Datalogic is pleased to announce the availability of new models for the Memor 10 mobile computer embedding a new 2D scan engine option with significantly improved performance. This new Megapixel scan engine has been specifically designed and developed by Datalogic to improve barcode reading performance for best-in-class depth of field.

Memor 10 is Datalogic’s first device in a new family of rugged Android PDA devices, offering a slim and compact design.  The Memor 10 incorporates Datalogic’s industry first wireless charging system for ultra-reliable contactless charging while still offering a 1 piece swappable battery.  Targeting Retail, Healthcare, Transportation & Logistics, and Manufacturing applications requiring a state of the art rugged Android device to automate their data collection needs.

With its 6.5 mm height, this new scan engine is the thinnest on the market for this class, while adding superior scanning capabilities with the Datalogic decoding library. The Megapixel scan engine also enables DotCode (tobacco tracking) and Digimarc watermarking reading. Datalogic’s patented “Green Spot” technology for visible good-read feedback is also integrated into this miniature scan engine package.
