Intermec/Honeywell Thermal Transfer or Direct Thermal Labels

Thermal Transfer Duratran Paper Labels
Thermal transfer printing technology uses thermally sensitive ink ribbons to produce bar codes that are both visible light and infrared scannable. Intermec Duratran thermal transfer label products, available in both paper and synthetic facestocks, provide durable, high quality printing and unlimited flexibility. For optimum performance, use Duratranthermal transfer media with Honeywell ThermaMAX ribbons.
TYPES OF THERMAL TRANSFER LABELS FROM INTERMEC/HONEYWELL
Duratran I Paper Label - Feature a robust general-purpose adhesive that's well suited for use on corrugated containers and many other common substrates.
Duratran II Paper Label - A premium top-coated, ultra smooth thermal transfer paper with permanent acrylic adhesive that demonstrates excellent print quality.
DIRECT THERMAL DURATHERM PAPER LABELS
Direct thermal media does not require a ribbon to print, making it
ideal for applications in which confidentiality is critical. Direct
thermal media is coated with a heat-sensitive layer that is imaged
through direct contact with the print head. The result is a pattern of
black dots forming text, barcodes or graphics.
