Secure MagStripe Read Head Module

The encrypting SecureHead incorporates ID TECH’s state of the art TriMag IV ASIC, which allows for the electronics to be embedded in the read head. TriMag IV not only performs the magnetic stripe data decoding, it also contains a microprocessor that handles encryption and communications for USD-HID, USB-KB, UART, SPI interfaces. The SecureHead’s built-in encryption engine supports TDES and AES encryption with DUKPT key management.
