iDynamo 5 (Gen II) has also been integrated into a variety of partner payment solutions including indoor self-service kiosks, handheld rugged tablets, and quick and simple mobile device connection. iDynamo 5 (Gen II) comes standard with select adapters to create a stronger connection to a variety of iPhone and iPad devices and has an optional OtterBox uniVERSE clip.

The MagTek uniVERSE Clip is made to take advantage of OtterBox cases using the uniVERSE Clip, making it easier to slide into place as a swappable module.

iDynamo 5 (Gen II) models employ the MagneSafe Security Architecture which delivers strong encryption, secure tokenization, tamper recognition, data relevance and integrity, and dynamic digital transaction signatures, which together validate and protect the transaction. Data is encrypted inside the reader with immediate tokenization of card data securing data even before it goes into the application. This layered approach to security far exceeds the protection of encryption by itself, decreases the scope of PCI compliance, and reduces fraud.
