PCTEL Base Coil Antennas
PCTEL's Base Coil Antennas boast a long tuning ferrule, granting unparalleled flexibility in frequency adjustment without trimming. Operating on a No Ground Plane (NGP) requirement, they ensure high performance without the need for a dedicated grounding system. With a straight stainless steel corona ball that remains securely on the rod, these antennas eliminate dissimilar metal interactions found in competitor designs. Their NMO mount makes installation a breeze, catering to a range of applications including public safety, transportation, utility, and military mobile operations.
This PCTEL antenna features a rugged molded polymer base, plated springloaded contact pin and 100” diameter stainless steel whip for long-lasting, trouble-free operation. Select models are available with open or closed coil rod and can be ordered in an all-black finish. This series offers models for many types of wireless applications, including Wi-Fi and WiMAX mobility, VHF and UHF land mobile radio, 700 Public Safety, 800 MHz and 900 MHz digital radio and AMPS/ PCS voice/data support.
