The Fresh-Check® Indicator works alongside date codes by using a reactive material that permanently changes color when exposed to temperature variations. Protected by an ultraviolet filter, the indicator responds faster at higher temperatures and slower at lower ones, making it simple to determine when a product has reached or exceeded its time-temperature limit. These indicators can be customized to meet your product’s shelf life requirements, ranging from a few days to several weeks (e.g., 5 days at 46° F / 8° C or 21 days at 46° F / 8° C).
