AML WSC-1600 Wearable Ring Scanners

The AML WSC-1600 is a versatile 2D imager that can scan any barcode in any orientation. Its depth-of-field, or scan distance, is determined by the type, size, and quality of the barcode, but generally speaking, a range of between 2 inches and 20 inches (50mm to 508mm) is pretty typical. It comes with a mount designed to be worn on the finger with a “thumb-trigger” to activate the scan. Weighing in at 1.62 ounces (46g), the WSC-1600 is lightweight and comfortable for all-day use. AML wearable ring scanners are specifically intended for use with our Dragonfly Wearable Computer and our Firebird VMU forklift computer. However, they may also be paired with any wireless-compatible device such as a laptop or tablet.
